Center for Abandoned Letterhead

The Center for Abandoned Letterhead is a space inside of the Franklin Furniture Store for the collection, display, and rehabilitation of defunct letterhead from Detroit area businesses and organizations.
These “pre-documents” — paper primed to become official communication – represent a kind of lost future.
Meanwhile printed letterhead, as a format, is moving toward obsolescence.
This project is an initiative of I.T.U. (Danielle Aubert, Lana Cavar) with Maia Asshaq.
